Eight-pointed stars, each ringed by a field of smaller shapes, and every line running unbroken from one star to the next. No curves and no bends: the whole panel comes from straight lines and a single rule, repeated until the stars lock together. It's worked in five earth browns, after the inlaid stone of a Mughal tomb.
